Data Deletion & Your Data Rights

You can disconnect your WhatsApp Business account and delete your data from Aria at any time. Deletion is free and completed within 30 days, with confirmation to you.

Option 1 — Disconnect WhatsApp (stops access immediately)

1. Open Aria and go to Connections.
2. Select Disconnect next to your WhatsApp Business account.
3. Aria immediately stops receiving any new messages from your account and removes the stored connection. Your existing client book stays in Aria until you delete it (Option 2).

Option 2 — Delete all your data

1. In Aria: go to Connections → Delete my data. This disconnects your WhatsApp Business account immediately, records your deletion request, and deletion completes within 30 days; or
2. By email: write to support@aria-app.dev from your account email with the subject "Data deletion request", including your account email and connected WhatsApp number.
3. We verify the request, delete your data, and send you confirmation.

Cost and timing

Deletion is always free of charge and completed within 30 days of a verified request (usually much sooner). We never charge a fee to delete your data. Whichever route you use, we send confirmation to your account email when deletion is complete.

WhatsApp Platform retention

Aria uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), under which Meta retains message content for a limited window of up to 30 days for delivery purposes; that is controlled by Meta, not Aria. Deleting your Aria data removes it from Aria's systems.

Records we may retain

We may retain limited records only where required for legal, tax or audit obligations (for example, invoices). These are kept no longer than the law requires and are not used for any other purpose.
